Yet another astounding moment for Varroc group and especially for Durovalves for having one more exemplary achievement in their kitty of Awards
Durovalves has won “Sona Kaizen Award & Kaizen Championship Trophy” for the year 2007, which was conferred by TPM Club of India Durovalves India Pvt. Ltd (DIPL) - a subsidiary company of Varroc Group has won the “Sona Kaizen Award & Kaizen Championship Trophy” for the year 2007. The award was announced in front of an elite Industrial gathering of top Indian company delegates (around 600 delegates from all across various industries in India &many distinguished guests from JIPM/JIPM-S Japan).The Award was presented to Durovalves team by Mr.  V.Narasimhan (Chairman TPM Club India) & Mr. Yoshitaka Murase (Advisor-Japan Institute of Plant maintenance, Japan) on 19-March-2008 at a glittering ceremony during the 8th TPM national Conference held at Chennai trade Centre, Chennai. 

                        Durovalves India Pvt. Ltd is in the field of manufacturing Engine valves , which supplies Engine Valves to M/s Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, Royal Enfield, Piaggio, Yamaha in domestic market & GM , Fiat  etc. in global market.    The winning kaizen topic presented by Durovalves (Sankalpa Team) was represented by Mr.  P Sampath, Mr. Arun Dande, Mr. Dayal Sulane and anchored by Ms. Ashwini Sapre. Durovalves team (Sankalpa) has presented the Kaizen topic of “Yield Loss” at the 8th TPM National Conference, (i.e. Yield Loss Elimination of costly hard facing material, which is used to improve wear resisting property of Engine Valves.) Sona Kaizen Award is been constituted for the promotion of Kaizen culture amongst Indian Industries by TPM Club Of India to select the best three of the ten best kaizens which have won the “Best Kaizen Award” at the two half yearly kaizen conferences organized (at Pune in June-07 and  at  Delhi in Oct-07)respectively. First prize is a trophy & a cash award of Rupees one lac.          Incidentally Varroc group companies won the first prize in both the half yearly kaizen competitions held at Pune and Delhi. Varroc Engineering (Unit 4-Handle bar Plant) & Durovalves India were the respective winners at Pune & Delhi to come into the best 10 category for competing the coveted Sona Kaizen Award and Kaizen Champion trophy.
